Race Condition is a love letter to Spaceteam written through EMFCamp-tinted glasses. It is a co-operative game for 1-6 players, played on the Tildagon (and hexpansions). Each badge shows commands meant for someone else (unless playing alone). Calmly and clearly tell your teammates what to do, and successfully carry out as many commands as you can before time runs out.
For a slightly more in-depth explanation about where this came from and how it came to be, check the about page.
Install from the Tildagon app store - look for Race Condition under Games, or punch in the store code. Both 2024 and 2026 badges are supported, but you must have upgraded to v2 of the Tildagon Firmware.
Supported hexpansions plugged in to badges playing bring more variety of commands to the game - and the more you have, the bigger your score multiplier.
The trusty old 2024 Tildagon. Press any of the six buttons around the edge - each shown as the arrow pointing at it - or shake or flip the whole badge (NB if any hexpansions are plugged in, 'Shake' and 'Flip' are disabled. There was... an incident during testing).
The 2026 EMF badge ("Spaceagon"). Everything the 2024 badge does and more: extras include a five-way joystick with a fire button, and twelve capacitive touch pads around the ring, each named after the planet or body printed beside it.
A Sega MegaDrive controller hexpansion. 3-button pads give you the D-pad, diagonals, Start, A, B, C plus a few classic fighting-game combos. 6-button pads auto-unlock three more if one of the additional buttons is pressed.
The GPS Hexpansion only has one command. But when it comes up, I'd start running.
The official keyboard hexpansion for the Tildagon. Just type in the word you're told on the keyboard. I'm sure they won't be confusing.
I've tried very hard to make it easy to add support for new hexpansions. If your hexpansion has any sort of input, and has an EEPROM that reports a VID/PID, it should be doable. Give it a shot!
Score rewards passing commands, bigger teams, and more Hexpansions:
A larger team multiplies your score more than a solo player, and having more Hexpansions attached gives a further boost.
