Race Condition is a love letter to Spaceteam through EMFCamp-tinted glasses. It is a cooperative game for 2-6 players, played on the Tildagon (and hexpansions). Each badge shows commands meant for someone else. Calmly and clearly tell your teammates what to do, and successfully carry out as many commands as you can before time runs out.
For a slightly more in-depth explanation about where and how this came from, check the about page.
Supported hexpansions plugged in to badges playing bring more variety of commands to the game - and the more you have, the bigger your score multiplier.
The trusty old 2024 Tildagon. Press any of the six buttons around the edge, or shake or flip the whole badge (NB if any hexpansions are plugged in, 'Shake' and 'Flip' are disabled. There was... an incident during testing).
A Sega MegaDrive controller hexpansion. 3-button pads give you Start, A, B, C - 6-button pads auto-unlock four more if one of the additional buttons is pressed.
The GPS Hexpansion only has one command. But when it comes up, I'd start running.
The 2026 EMF badge, with a space theme and new hardware. Support coming (hopefully) in the field.
The official keyboard hexpansion for the Tildagon. Just type the word you're told in on the keyboard. I'm sure they won't be confusing. Support coming (hopefully) in the field.
I've tried very hard to make it easy to add support for new hexpansions. If your hexpansion has any sort of input, and has an EEPROM that reports a VID/PID, it should be doable. Give it a shot!
Score rewards passing commands, bigger teams, and more Hexpansions:
A larger team multiplies your score more than a solo player, and having more Hexpansions attached gives a further boost.
